I FINALLY found out how to stop the track at the end of your recorded tracks. That is probably the easiest, since when you get the range you want, you want to copy that range anyway. If you didn't like the selection, select another and let the macro do the work. When I think of it, via a macro we could easily have it pull any range to a temporary track, solo that track and you would just play.
